Integrations
Connect third-party tools and services.
Integrations extend Flamel's capabilities by connecting to external tools and services you already use. Rather than manually moving data between systems, integrations automate the connection, keeping information synchronized and enabling workflows that span multiple platforms.
How Integrations Work
When you connect an integration, you're authorizing Flamel to communicate with that external service on your behalf. Depending on the integration, this might mean:
Pulling data in — Importing customer lists, syncing location information, or bringing in data that helps target your content and ads.
Pushing data out — Sending leads captured through ad forms to your CRM, exporting analytics to reporting tools, or triggering actions in other systems.
Two-way sync — Keeping data consistent between Flamel and external systems, with changes in either place reflected in both.
Each integration has specific capabilities defined by what the external service allows and what's relevant for social media marketing.
Available Integrations
The specific integrations available depend on your plan and may evolve over time. Check Manage > Integrations for the current list of available connections.
Mindbody
For businesses in fitness, wellness, and similar industries, the Mindbody integration connects your scheduling and client management system to Flamel.
With Mindbody connected, you can sync client data for use in ad targeting, pull location information automatically, and create audiences based on client behavior and membership status. This is particularly powerful for targeted advertising — reaching lapsed members with win-back campaigns or promoting specific classes to clients who've shown interest in similar offerings.
Other Integrations
The integrations landscape evolves as Flamel adds new connections. Visit the Integrations page to see what's currently available and request integrations you'd find valuable.
Connecting an Integration
The connection process varies by integration but follows a general pattern.
Navigate to Manage > Integrations to see available integrations. Find the one you want and click Connect. This typically initiates an authorization flow where you log into the external service and grant Flamel permission to access your data.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete authorization. Some integrations require additional configuration after the initial connection — selecting which data to sync, mapping fields between systems, or choosing sync frequency.
Once connected, the integration appears with an "Active" status in your integrations list.
Managing Connected Integrations
After connection, you can view and adjust integration settings as needed.
Checking Status
Each integration shows its current status:
Active means the connection is working normally. Data is syncing as configured and no action is needed.
Needs Attention indicates something requires your intervention — perhaps a configuration setting needs updating, or there's a sync error to address. Click into the integration details to see what's needed.
Disconnected means the integration is no longer active. This happens if you manually disconnect or if the external authorization expires.
Configuring Sync Settings
Click on any active integration to see its configuration options. Here you can adjust what data syncs, how often it syncs, and any mapping settings that control how data moves between systems.
Some integrations support both automatic and manual sync. Automatic sync runs on a schedule (hourly, daily, etc.) without intervention. Manual sync lets you trigger an update immediately when you need fresh data now rather than waiting for the next scheduled sync.
Disconnecting
If you no longer need an integration, click into its settings and select Disconnect. Confirm the disconnection to remove the link between Flamel and that external service.
Disconnecting stops all data sync immediately. Data that was already imported into Flamel remains (audiences, location data, etc.) but won't receive further updates from the external source.
Data and Privacy Considerations
When connecting integrations, you're granting Flamel access to data in external systems. Understand what data each integration accesses and how it's used.
Review the permissions requested during authorization. Most integrations request only the minimum access needed for their function, but it's worth understanding what you're approving.
Consider your obligations regarding customer data. If an integration imports customer information, ensure your use of that data in Flamel (for targeting, personalization, etc.) complies with your privacy policies and applicable regulations.
