Franchise Closure
Remove a franchise workspace and user when a location permanently closes.
When a franchise location closes permanently, remove the workspace and associated user accounts from Flamel.
Step 1: Cancel Active Playbooks
- Switch to the closing workspace's context
- Go to Social Media Ads > Playbooks
- Cancel or opt out of any active playbooks
- Wait for any running campaigns to stop (or stop them manually in Meta Ads Manager)
Step 2: Export Data (Optional)
If you need to keep records:
- Analytics: Export CSV from the analytics pages
- Post History: Review the calendar for any content worth archiving
- Media: Download needed assets from the media library
Step 3: Disconnect Social Accounts
- Go to Connected Accounts in the closing workspace
- Disconnect all social accounts
- This prevents Flamel from attempting to post to accounts that may be deactivated
Step 4: Remove the User
- Go to Organization > User Seats (from Hub context)
- Find the franchisee's account
- Click Remove
- Confirm the removal
If the user owns multiple workspaces, unassign them only from the closing workspace instead of removing their account entirely.
Step 5: Delete the Workspace
- Go to Organization > Workspaces (from Hub context)
- Find the closing workspace
- Click Delete
- Confirm the deletion
Workspace deletion is permanent. All post history, analytics data, media, and workspace settings are removed and cannot be recovered.
Step 6: Clean Up Location
- Go to Locations
- Remove the closed location's entry
- This prevents the address from appearing in ad targeting or reports
