Setting Up Billing

Before you can bill your workspaces, you need to connect a Stripe account and configure your billing settings.

Step 1: Connect Stripe

Navigate to Billing > Settings and follow the Stripe Connect onboarding flow.

1. Enter your email and country
2. Complete Stripe's onboarding (business details, bank account for payouts)
3. Once connected, you will see your account status on the Settings page

Stripe Connect handles all payment processing, compliance, and payouts. Your workspace payments flow through your connected Stripe account.

Step 2: Configure Billing

After connecting Stripe, configure how you want to bill your workspaces:

Fee Structure

Choose how your management fee is applied:

• Fee on top: The fee is added to the workspace's ad budget. Example: $1,000 budget + 10% fee = $1,100 invoice.
• Fee subtracted: The fee is taken from the workspace's ad budget. Example: $1,000 budget with 10% fee = $1,000 invoice, $900 goes to ads.

Billing Day

Pick the day of the month when invoices are generated (1-31). Workspaces are charged on this day each month.

Payment Methods

Choose which payment methods your workspaces can use:

• Card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
• US Bank Account (ACH)
• Link (Stripe's one-click checkout)

Step 3: Set Billing Emails

Add email addresses that should receive billing notifications. These are used for:

• Invoice reminders sent to workspaces
• Payment confirmations
• Failed payment alerts

Step 4: Select Solutions

Choose which advertising solutions are included in billing:

• Social Media Ads (Meta/Facebook/Instagram)
• Google Ads

Only spend from selected solutions will be tracked against workspace budgets.

What Happens Next

Once billing is configured:

1. Navigate to Billing > Budgets to set monthly budgets for your workspaces
2. Each workspace will need to add a payment method (you can send them a setup link)
3. Stripe will automatically generate invoices on your chosen billing day
